On Saturday 10 February 2024 in Mogadishu Somalia legalized the membership of the East Africa Community regional intergovernmental organization. the 11 Parliament the 4th Session in the 17 session 150 MPs . The members voted for the participation of Somalia East Africa Community. Somalia will be an official full member of the EAC with other members DJabuti, Kenya Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Somalia.
Somalia will be the eighth state to join the regional intergovernmental organization that will government privileges and space for both the civilians and the government. This will give free movement for people and trade in the nations. The member countries exchange products and services that may be an opportunity for their people.
