Somalia Parliament Committee for Agriculture, livestock, Rural Development and Maritime Resource. The meeting is chaired by Mr. Mukhtar M Guled the chairperson and participated some of the members of the committee. The meeting gust was Mr Asad member of legislators and the line minister of the Agriculture and Irrigation Somali Federal government. The meeting was aimed at discussing the Draft Bill for the National Agency for Farming’s second reading
The members who participated in the meeting made a reading of the Draft Bill for the National Agency for Farming’s reading of Articles 1 to 15 of the bill. With technical advisers of the parliament and the Ministry of Farming and Irrigation. This draft bill will be for the National Agency for Farming and Irrigation.
After this meeting, the committee can make a public hearing of the draft bill with civil society and the private sector for the industry of farming in Somalia. The Draft Bill for the National Agency for Framings may go second reading in the next days or weeks before the closure of the 11th Parliament 4 session in the month of March 2024.
