Public Hearing for Somalia agriculture Regulatory and inspection service  draft bill

On Saturday 02 March 2024 in Mogadishu, the Somalia parliament committee for agricultural, rural development, and irrigation held a Public Hearing for Somalia’s Agriculture Regulatory and Inspection Service draft bill in Hotel Sanaag.  The members of the committee participated in the meeting.

The committee invited the agricultural sector trade institutions, professional individuals, and stakeholders from civil society to read the draft bill and make their contribution to the committee for the third reading. The draft bill is proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture Somalia and the committee is making reviews for correction and inputs.

In the public hearing, the participants of the Somalia Agriculture Regulatory and Inspection Service draft bill made comments based on their skill and experience for the sector correction of some articles, and omissions and input of new articles in the draft bill.
